Have you been in contact with Miss Ives today?

[ it takes him a while to reply, maybe 20 minutes, still getting the hang of mortal technology. he's not used to these little device things demanding his attention. ]

I have not. Not for some while, I confess.

[ Too bad, this mortal is in dire need of assistance. He's all too happy to help him get the practice in but his text back is even slower, due to his mangled hands. ]

I didn't know who else to contact. You helped her before, I thought you might be able to help now.

Miss Ives found out what I was keeping from her, she was there after it happened and now I can't contact her.

You believe she is avoiding you? What help could she need regarding that?

Not willingly.

She was with me after I changed, she wouldn't have disappeared without a word.

No. That's the only damn thing I'm certain of.

She's the only part of the night I remember clearly. If I hurt her, I would remember it.

[ Is he 100% certain? Absolutely not, but there was no body beside him when he woke up. That's enough for him. ]

Do you believe she has left? Or taken?

I don't know, the only thing I'm sure of is something is wrong with this. Will you help me find her?

There's a bakery she likes to visit and the statue garden. I'm certain she's tried to test the walls around the city for weaknesses.
